Cochrane Korea was established in 2009 at the College of Medicine of Korea University, located in Seoul. Our aim is to create, disseminate, and utilise Cochrane reviews to ultimately promote objective, evidence-based decision-making in healthcare in Korea. Additionally, Cochrane Korea conducts research and education on evidence-based medicine methodology to evaluate scientific evidence.

The healthcare sector in Korea is currently facing societal demands to increase the amount of information, diversify the groups involved in decision-making, and increase the transparency of the process. Cochrane Korea plays a central role and contributes to rational decision-making through evidence-based approaches. Based on our research and experience, we aim to contribute to the development of evidence-based medicine, education, and research both in Korea and abroad.
