Main Activities Cochrane Korea is engaged in the following activities, with the ultimate goal of using Cochrane reviews to promote evidence-based decision-making in healthcare. |
| 1) Conduct Cochrane Reviews & Systematic Reviews, and Disseminating Findings |
| Cochrane Korea aims to generate evidence to support healthcare policies that are relevant and for the Korean context, as well as provide information for the publication and dissemination of Korean versions of systematic reviews and Cochrane reviews. |
| 2) Build a Database of Domestic Scientific Evidence |
| Cochrane Korea endeavours to build a Korean database that evaluates and includes evidence from Korean articles. It also aims to build an information system using Cochrane Central Register of Clinical Trials (CENTRAL). |
| 3) Provide Systematic Review Methodology Training |
| Cochrane Korea offers workshops and training opportunities for healthcare professionals and other experts in the field. |
| 4) Collaboration with Domestic and International Groups |
Cochrane Korea engages with the global Cochrane network by collaborating with disease-specific Cochrane review groups, consumer and patient networks, and methodology groups located around the world. We also support researchers in Korea who are conducting systematic reviews.
